Movement & Make Believe

Join us for a magical week of movement, crafts, and fun! Children will explore a variety of movements through creative dance and imaginative play at this camp. Ballet basics will be introduced to help develop balance, body alignment, flexibility, and coordination. Dancers will present a final performance on Friday for friends and family.

Weekly Wednesday classes are open to new and returning students! Weekly Wednesdays will run in two sessions during the summer semester. Enroll in both sessions or choose a session that best fits your summer schedule!
*New students ages are welcome to enroll based on their age as of the start of the session. Students from The Louisville Ballet School’s 2025-2026 School Year will continue in their current level from the Spring 2026 Semester and move into their new placement starting in the Fall 2026 Semester.

Junior Intensive

This program offers intensive-style ballet training while also being introduced to other styles of dance. There will be a placement class on the first day to determine dancer level. Dancers begin each day with ballet and end the day exploring electives that may include modern, cultural dance, musical theater and more! This program culminates in an informal performance for friends & family.
*New students ages 9+ with at least one year of ballet experience are invited to enroll. Students from The Louisville Ballet School’s 2025-2026 School Year who have completed Classical Ballet levels III, IV, V, Intro to Classical Ballet, or Teen Ballet are invited to enroll.
Before-Care is available from 8:45 - 10:00 am & After-Care is available until 5:15 pm
Pre-Intensive Program

Downtown Studios
This early summer program held at the Downtown Studios gives serious dance students intensive-style ballet training while also exploring other styles of dance. This program is ideal for those students needing to prep for a full Summer Intensive program and for those who are not quite ready for our 4-week summer intensive program. Dancers begin each day with ballet technique and pre-pointe/pointe and end the day with repertoire, and electives that may include modern, character, yoga and more! This program culminates in an informal performance for friends & family.
**New students ages 12+ with at least two years of pre-pointe or pointe experience are invited to enroll. Students from The Louisville Ballet School’s 2025-2026 School Year who have completed Classical Ballet level VI, Academy, or Pre-Professional levels 1-6 are invited to enroll.
~Class times will vary by level placement. Prior to the start of the program, families will be notified with their student’s level placement.
Junior Master Class Series
Ages 9-16*

Join us for a 90 minute master class followed by a 60 minutes variation workshop at the St. Matthews Studios.
*New students ages 9+ with at least one year of ballet experience are invited to enroll. Students from The Louisville Ballet School’s 2025-2026 School Year who have completed Classical Ballet levels IV-V, Intro to Classical Ballet, and Teen Ballet are invited to enroll.
Senior Master Class Series
