Scholarships

New and continuing students of The Louisville Ballet School are invited to apply for scholarships for the 2026-2027 school year. Partial tuition scholarships are available to students ages 6+ who meet criteria for merit and/or financial-need awards. Full tuition scholarships are available to boys ages 8+.

New students, ages 7-9, are invited to audition for Louisville Ballet's Ballet Bound program, a tuition-free initiative.

Whether you're a beginner or an athlete, gymnast, skater, or actor looking to cross-train, this program builds the physical strength, agility, and mental discipline needed to excel in any field. Our alumni leverage this foundational training to launch careers with major ballet companies, excel in top university programs, and succeed across diverse professional fields.

Program Highlights

Distinguished Faculty: Learn in all-male classes led by male mentors.
Dynamic Curriculum: Comprehensive training in Jazz, Modern, *Conditioning, **Partnering (Pas de Deux), and **Male Variations.
Life Skills & Community: Forge lifelong friendships while developing time management, core strength, and confidence.

Next Steps

1. Complete the Boys' Scholarship application.

2. Register for classes:

New students who are age 8 at the start of the school year, are invited to register for Classical Ballet 3, Boys Class, and a Complementary Program class of their choice!
New students ages 9 and up must request a placement class to determine level placement.

The Boys Scholarship is applicable to the Fall and Spring Semesters. Re-application is required annually.

Summer Intensive scholarships are awarded through the Summer Intensive audition tour.
