Repertoire
Classical Ballet VI and Academy Program students are invited to enroll in a weekly Repertoire class.
Classical Ballet VI and Academy Program students who enroll in Repertoire will perform two works during the 2025-2026 school year. Performances include LBYE Fall Showcase in the fall semester and Complementary Collection as part of Spring Dance Festival in the spring semester.
Please note, the registration deadline for Repertoire performances differs from other Spring Dance Festival deadlines due to choreography for this piece beginning early during the Fall Semester with weekly rehearsals.
Repertoire Registration Deadline: August 25, 2025 ($140.00 fee per semester)
Fall Showcase Performance: Sunday, November 9, 2026

Story Ballet
The Louisville Ballet School’s Spring Dance Festival is an annual, end-of-year performance that celebrates students from all of our programs. Students in the Classical Ballet, Academy and Pre-Professional Programs have the opportunity to perform within a story ballet created specifically for our students. The story ballet performance requires weekly rehearsals throughout the Fall and Spring Semesters. Students enrolled in Classical Ballet IV and up may enroll a story ballet rehearsal to attend in addition to their weekly classes, starting in the Fall Semester. Students enrolled in Classical Ballet I – III may enroll in a story ballet rehearsal to attend in addition to their weekly classes, starting in the Spring Semester. Rehearsal schedules may vary and grow in length later in the Spring Semester in preparation for production week.
CB IV – VI, Academy Story Ballet Registration Deadline: September 12, 2025 ($245.00 Fee)
Classical Ballet IV – VI and Academy Program students receive a $20.00 discount on their Story Ballet Rehearsal registration if enrolled on or before August 29, 2025.
CB I – III Story Ballet Registration Deadline: January 16, 2026 ($225.00 Fee)
Production Week: May 4-9, 2026.
Complementary Collection
Students who are enrolled in a Complementary Program offering (i.e. Modern, Jazz, Tap, etc) have the additional opportunity to perform in Complementary Collection. This performance piece will begin during the Spring Semester and will be rehearsed during their elective class time. Additional rehearsals may be schedule outside of regular class time in preparation for production week.
Complementary Collection Registration Deadline: January 16, 2026 ($75 Fee)
Production Week: May 5-10, 2025
Petite Finale
Petite Finale is a showcase of our youngest students’ achievements. This informal showing gives our Creative Movement 1, Creative Movement 2, & Pre-Ballet students of the Children’s Program a performance experience, allowing them to share what they have learned throughout the year without the stress and anxiety of a traditional recital.
Petite Finale Registration Deadline: March 31, 2025
Petite Finale Fee: Complimentary! Family and friends of our Petite Finale performers will be responsible for paying a ticket fee to attend, but no performance fee will be assessed. At least one parent per dancer is required to escort the dancer within the theater and will need to purchase a ticket for entry.
